Introducing Sea Glass Garden Stepping Stones!
Inspired by an invitation to be on the 2024 Gloucester Garden Tour, I decided to create something that will speak to my artistry when visitors enter our garden here on Thurston Pt. in Gloucester. I have exquisite large pieces of Sea Glass that will never be used for Wearable Art, so this is a wonderfully functional way to use them and spread the Sea Glass love around the region. These are only available LOCALLY here at my studio.
There are several designs evolving. Some are strictly whimsical. Some resemble butterflies. Others look like flowers coming out of a pot. As always in my work, the designs are inspired by the shapes and sizes of the glass itself. I am also creating a limited selection of garden “sculptures” using bottlenecks. These can hold live flowers! Sizes and pricing are as follows:
7, 8 and 10″ rounds – priced from $48-98
9 x 9 ” squares – $88
9 x 13″ rectangle – $128
With advance notice, these stones can be customized with lettering that I order from another artist. See example below. Allow 6-8 weeks for customization.
