I love the necklace that I purchased! It was as if it was custom designed with me in mind. I look forward to purchasing more unique and beautiful pieces in the future.

I found Jacqueline’s work in the Discover Gloucester booklet where she was a featured artist when I was visiting a friend in Beverly, MA. I called her up and she happened to have the earring that I saw in the photo so I purchased them while on the road. I returned home and found the earrings as beautiful as in the photo.

Penelope loves her sea glass barrette. This is her first sea glass accessory. Penelope has her own collection of sea glass and loves to hunt for it. She has a keen eye. Anne Bresnahan (speaking for her grand-daughter)
I just wanted you to know that I really love my new green sea-glass hair barrette. It is so beautiful and I love the color. It wasn’t St Patrick’s Day that made me choose green that day, as the greens you use transcend any one holiday like that. It is a beautiful translucent set of greens that I am in love with in SPRING. There is a poem I need to find that references all of the myriad shades of green in early spring. Too numerous to list them all, as there are so many of them. Thank you for making my hair a part of this early spring season….

“Every shard of sea glass that washes up on the shore is the result of chemistry and chance. A bottle or bowl, lost at sea, is buffeted by waves and scrubbed by sand for decades, even centuries. Eventually, a crystalline surface develops on the glass and the edges of the pottery turn smooth as bone, a reminder of humanity’s ability to create and nature’s power to erode. Jacqueline Ganim-DeFalco gathers these jewels and, at her Cape Ann Designs studio in Gloucester, arranges pieces of beer-bottle amber against the elusive ship-light red to produce tableaus on brooches and hair accessories. While “mechanically assisted” sea glass is widely manufactured, Ganim-DeFalco uses only material that has gained its beauty on the ocean floor.”
This is a quick note of thanks for your warm and gracious welcome yesterday. My husband and I were so impressed by your art–the beauty of the designs, the wearability, and the enduring power of nature’s gifts. Your eye for the right color, texture, and shape is amazing–something not all of us mere mortals possess! Again, thank you. Our day yesterday affirmed our commitment to our move to Cape Ann.

We visited Jacqui yesterday during the Artists’ open house and had a blast looking through her gorgeous sea glass jewelry and hair jewelry! Jackie was in process of making a stunning comb and I got to have input to make it my own! Such a wonderful, fun and relaxing experience! Can’t wait to visit again❣️ — with Laurie Anderson.
I’ve been enjoying your creations for many years now and always look forward to visiting your studio. Thank you for the beautiful unique work that you continue to do with such care! I get so many compliments whenever I wear your sea glass pieces! I just love wearing a piece of history that the ocean so brilliantly polished over the years. I often look at your creations and wonder what stories they would tell if they could. Your latest leather line is super soft and comfortable to wear; love my new bracelet! Beautiful creations !!!! So hard to pick just ONE ! I love my barrette…..it’s comfortable, doesn’t pull my hair, not heavy to wear, stays put and looks fabulous
Jackie is a real sweetheart.
I went to her sea glass studio on Thurston Pt Rd in Gloucester and was amazed with her talent and the choices she had to offer.
She finds sea glass on the beach and without alteration makes incredible pieces of art jewelry.

I just received the bracelet and earrings. They are even more vibrant than pictured, if that's possible. Thank you for your excellent and caring craftsmanship as well as the whimsy responsible for transporting me back to Cape Ann and Plum Cove. I appreciate the time you invested in these pieces, the careful shipping and the attention to detail in the whole process
Kudos to Jacqueline for her wonderfully creative use of sea glass. Her barrettes are truly unique and earn well deserved compliments from myself and several friends. Thanks for a colorful and fresh new look in accessories.

Such lovely pieces! I love wearing my leather and glass cuff! And I just pinned a brooch to one of my felt fedora style hats – so great! Martha Sutyak, Smartly Staged
Just thought I would share my experience yesterday of walking into the gallery in Medfield, MA yesterday. Your work was prominently displayed as I walked in the door, I was captured immediately!! The colors and combinations were great, and I have always been drawn to sea glass, shells and stones. Thank you for creating such beautiful art and sharing it with others. I will do the same as I wear it.
I just want to let you know how much I love my sea glass bracelet. It is so striking and unique. When I wear it I always receive compliments. I am looking forward to seeing you and your beautiful designs soon.
Thank you, Linda Adams
She really loved it. What a fantastic gift–coming from the sea and artfully crafted. It made a big hit!
What a delight your creations are! Not only was I pleased to purchase a beautiful sea glass pin – and bought hair sticks and a barrette as well for two wonderful friends for Christmas presents. It was a very difficult decision as to give any of these away – each one unique. I finally decided to keep the brooch, hoping that I could purchase more in the future! Thank you for adding beauty in the world!
I view the designs in Jackie's Sea Glass Barrette Collection as individual pieces of sculpture. I wear one and bought one for my sister as well! When my sister is not wearing hers it graces her coffee table!!!!"
LOVE my barrette! With shards and gems from my East Gloucester shoreline, it has a special sense of place as well as a stunning design. It feels like a piece of wearable art I will have forever.

Hi Jackie,
Just thought I would share my experience yesterday of walking into the Classic Touch gallery in Medfield, MA yesterday. Your work was prominently displayed as I walked in the door, I was captured immediately!! The colors and combinations were great, and I have always been drawn to sea glass, shells and stones (I realize that you don't use stones, but the sea glass also has the look of smooth riverbed pebbles)
So, of course, I selected the piece that spoke to me the loudest in soft greens, cream, browns and a bit of pottery. It's designed as a pin, but both the owner of the gallery and I both thought it would be stunning worn vertically on a string of seed pearls or hanging from a "V" shaped silver choker, which she had….it looked stunning!!! Atleast that's another wonderful option for your unique work.
Thank you for creating such beautiful art and sharing it with others. I will do the same as I wear it 🙂
