Why Hair Accessories?

December 19, 2012 by jgdefalco

Lately, I have had the good fortune of explaining to everyone why I started designing hair accessories.   Quite simply, good ones are impossible to find!   We spend so much money on our hair – so why not show it off.   I would love to hear from you with photos of a barrette "in your hair" – for the new section on my website of wearing the art!   Here's one I had taken recently at our seARTS Wearable Arts Show.  Of course, the obvious challenge is you really  need someone else to take the photo.   For those of you who will get one as a holiday gift, I hope you enjoy them 🙂  And a final thanks to my mom who was on the quest on my behalf for years.   In fact, because of her, I have quite a collection.

She really loved it. What a fantastic gift–coming from the sea and artfully crafted.  It made a big hit!
